Interview transcript
What they have to be able to learn what the land can do for them and how they can produce results and make a living. Because the thing we got there is population and some land base that they can, because of unable to handle them. All their allotments are bought by the tribe. So the tribe now owns over about 50% of land base. Prior to that, the goal of the government was to, was to, eliminate tribal holdings and convert all to individual land holdings. But that is a failure because now we're back to square one where the land base is controlled by the tribe. So they have to now learn how to work the land and make it, make it, produce for them, but in a spiritual way. So that's always one of the goals.
