Interview transcript

I owe a lot to my grandmother, my mother's mother. She had recently passed away in August, and I didn't realize that my grandmother actually raised me from birth to, I believe I turned 7, and we went to live with my mother. And I didn't realize that my grandmother, that was the part of the important years from birth until that age, how she wanted me to know so much. She had taught me a lot. And when I see my children and my grandchildren, I always stop and think that this day I was mother and this day I was grandma. And, you know, my kids, I tell them that it is so important to become educated, you know, all the way to my takoshas, that this is it, this is it. And I had heard yesterday that we are going back to the same way that they, how would you say that, they took it, we're going to use that same tool to get it back.
